It was with this understanding that we set out to create something unique and forward thinking that would make a real difference to both their direct clients and the residents. We studied for many years to design systems that would address the particular needs of social housing environments together with the inherent challenges faced by councils and officers to maintain safe housing for their residents and leaseholders.

We eliminated all fallible components so we could offer extra-long guarantees.

We optimised the growing LED industry to provide improved lighting flexibility to minimise lighting energy costs.

We introduced superior emergency lighting automation to ensure that the emergency lights will always work perfectly when called upon.

We minimised the risk of human error by making the systems fully automatic.

We made the systems visible and accountable so that the stakeholders can have absolute certainty that they are safe and sure that eh systems are compliant with full data-logged evidence of the systems’ operating integrity at all times.

The system is now specified in many of the London Boroughs and housing providers. Once our system has been installed into one block, our clients have seen so many benefits that they bring us back in to do more and more of their estates. We also combine our lighting systems with solar pv systems giving those residents zero energy costs for their communal lighting. Now that’s budget certainty!

Flexibility

A key feature of the Commulite system is that, although it is based on a highly innovative use of the latest technologies, it can still be easily installed by any qualified electrician, contractor or direct labour organisation, and then commissioned by our own engineers.

Made in Britain

Commulite is a system that is completely Made in Britain. We manufacture our own luminaires, light engines control panels, to ensure that we have complete control over quality and delivery.

On-going Support

Commulite’s technology is subject to continual development, and our clients reap the benefits through free software upgrades. Our software is an open protocol system that your engineers and/or contractors will learn in hours, and Commulite engineers are always on hand to provide support, advice and site visits where required.
