In doing so we’re also helping you to reduce yours too. As well as manufacturing in the UK, we have partnered with Just One Tree, who will plant a new tree for every luminaire you install… so in a typical block that’s 200 new trees, the equivalent of *4.5 tonnes of CO2 EVERY YEAR on top of the 10 tonnes you’ll save EVERY YEAR with our lighting when switching from compact fluorescents.

We have committed to reducing our carbon footprint

We are also partnered with Lumicom, the UK’s leading independent not-for-profit WEEE Compliance Scheme set up to specifically serve the lighting industry. All Commulite components are individually bar coded and at the end of their working life they are returned to us for recycling by Lumicom at no extra cost. Not only that, but when you have a Commulite system installed we’ll also take care of the waste components removed from your buildings. These are collected and recycled by Lumicom at no cost to you… You’ll also save on inconvenience and cost of skip hire!

We have committed to the future generation

Commulite launched ‘Brighter Futures’ in 2012.

Brighter futures is about the next generation. It’s about serving the communities we work in by offering opportunities to the kids who live there. So we can help them to have a brighter future.

Many young people in the UK are disadvantaged, and we see this in the communities we serve. These children are not given the same opportunities as others… often things that others take for granted like sports and hobbies. Many of which are so important for building kids’ confidence and their sense of belonging with their peers.

We are seeking to change that. Over the years we have set up projects to teach kids how to sail and play golf… sports that are usually considered out of reach for those families. Bridging the gap and breaking down the preconceptions about what they can and can’t do and achieve.

This year we are giving 6 kids from Waltham Forest the opportunity to learn to play golf. They will be provided with all the equipment and lessons with a coach. We look forward to seeing them shine! Please get in touch to find out more.
